Healthy Restaurants in LA Plante Raw Sushi

Wow, wow wow. I have been craving my good ole super nutrient rich sushi wraps and tonight I nailed it. I will love for you to experience the nourishment and activation from these sushi wraps. Let’s get to it!

First Here is what you will need:

Coconut Aminos (Can be found at most grocery stores like whole foods, I choose this over soy as most of it is GMO) – You want this for dipping your rolls, its epic.

Raw Nori Sheets – This you will use as the foundation of your sushi wraps.


1 packet organic raw coconut meat by Inner Eco (check frozen section of the grocery store for frozen coconut meat)

1/2 cup wild aquatic sea grass (a.k.a. wild black rice) – I get mine from a local spot in Southern Oregon, but I know they carry this at some stores and you can most certainly find it online.  It enriches the Jing as it is a black food and nourishes kidney if prepared properly.  Preparation: Soak the rice in clean water for 24 hours, make sure to rinse it and put fresh water in often.  This will create soft rice. If it is not soft enough to chew then add some hot water and let sit for a few minutes to soften. Then strain out water, set aside.

1/4 cup raw sauerkraut ( i prefer rejuvenative foods brand)- assists the digestion of the whole meal making the nutrients more and more bio-available.

1 knob turmeric root or a good heaping teaspoon of fresh turmeric powder

A splash of raw apple cider vinegar

2 -3 tsp miso paste (chickpea miso is my favorite)

1 clove black garlic or regular og garlic

A dash of water if needed to blend.

1 Purple Daikon (shredded)

Bunch Arugula

Ripe Avocado Slices

Add the above ingredients except the arugula, avocado and daikon to the blender or nutri-bullet and blend up well.

This creates a paste or pate.

Spread this layer on the base of the nori in the middle. Then top with lots of arugula, avocado and shredded purple daikon. The black, purple and green foods are super nourishing and even your energy centers benefit, such a nourishing, mineral rich meal.  Add more fresh grated turmeric or turmeric powder to seal the matrix of the food while counter balancing any inflammation in the body.

Cut in half or in pieces and serve with a side of Coconut Aminos. Enjoy Jedi!
