This was just what my body ordered today and it just so happened I had all the ingredients to create it. Have you ever really taken a good look at the pomegranate? It resembles the human ovary almost to a “T” and wow it feels super nourishing too. It’s like nature is making this super easy to see that this food is a healing food for the female reproductive system.
With Pomegranates currently in season along with fresh ginger roots and turmeric I have been making some amazing recipes to nourish, tone and prevent/reduce any inflammation in the body. This recipe nourishes the ovaries, keeps the gut biome in check with a lovely fermented liquid as the base and really nourishes the heart while making the mind clear!
So what I did hear was added about 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds to the nutri-bullet or any high speed blender will do. Simply cut the pomegranate in half and then gently squeeze or tap with a wood tam on the skin of the fruit into a bowl. This will knock the seeds loose.
Next I used Homemade Raw Grass-fed Goat milk Kefir using Body Ecology Kefir Grains. You could choose cultured coconut yogurt but just know it will be more of a thicker smoothie like consistency and the coconut yogurt will be less sugar. Even Kefir has some sugar left over. See how your body responds.
Then since my Kefir was nice and sour, I added a few stevia drops.And I then Upgraded the elixir with some Collagen powder. It blended to a beautiful,absolutely gorgeous pink color with a very good consistency. Serve in your favorite glass and celebrate your reproductive organs.
