Healing Bone Broth Soup

Wow, the other day I nailed it with this deeply nourishing and jing rebuilding soup.  I think you will be delighted with the flavors and the feeling your stomach gets from this inspiring soup. It is sure to nourish the soul and help you connect on a deeper level to your ancestral matrix! The value of a grass fed bone broth has been documented and verified from center's for healing like the Weston A. Price Foundation.  Donna Gates is another advocate of bone broth and its' ability to restore gut permeability. With anything it's highly important to make sure your source broth is of the highest caliber. Enjoy this recipe any time of day. If you have bone broth warming on the stove it can be a lovely start to your day or a wonderful finish to a long winter's day.  Remember to balance your liquid meals like this with green vegetable juices and blended green soups. It will give more value and benefits to both sides yin and yang.  Here goes.....!

First you will either need to make your bone broth or lately I have been buying grass fed bone broth in the freezer section of my local health food store. It's a saving grace for me b/c it cuts down the work time in the kitchen. But if you prefer just get some grass fed bones from your local butcher or at the market. Then create a broth by adding in Apple Cider Vinegar, your favorite vegetables/herbs like celery, thyme, bay leaves and other incredibly nourishing veggies. Let it simmer for 12-24 hours to let the minerals leech from the bones into your base broth. Skim the top and you have your broth.

4-6 cups of warm/hot bone broth

3-4 tbs of coconut cream (you can find this in freezer section or even in a box on the shelf..find organic without any other ingredients)

1 large avocado

1 part bok choy or greens of choice like cilantro

2 -4 nori sheets

Fresh Turmeric Root

Fresh Ginger Root

Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice to Taste

Spicy Kimchi

Once you have a warm broth ready add the coconut cream to that broth to soften. Next pour this into a vitamix blender and then add each of your other ingredients except the Greens & Kimchi ( I like to add as a garnish).  I also like to reserve some avocado for chunks in the soup after blending.

The amount is up to you, some can handle a lot of turmeric and some can't. Same goes for the ginger but these roots are very nourishing and healing. I love the lemon juice as it gives it a fresh, clean taste. Blend on high and let it get rich and creamy.

Top with the remaining avocado chunks and bok choy. Serve in large soup bowls and feel the nourishment in your soul too!

Heal the gut with this incredible jing building dish and restore the microflora in your body. Allow your genius to come thru as we evolve as a species.
