What it actually takes to build spiritual resilience, protect your field, nourish your soul, and stay fully alive in these times.
Life is an epic soul-awakening event.
Beyond any other article on this website, this is the one that can provide you with freedom and peace to live as a sovereign soul in a synthetic world.
Nutrition and Natural Hygiene practices are extremely valuable, for without a healthy body, the soul has no solid ground to project from.
The ego becomes too caught up in dealing with the health issues it is dealing with…although sometimes illness can be a major catalyst for soul consciousness expansion.
If there is only one thing you do, it would be to nourish the soul and live from there.
The deeper intention of this entire website is Soul Consciousness and expansion, so we can move from lower ways of living to higher realms of being.
Whatever makes you alive, go and do it.
You Are Energy First
Before you are a body, before you are a mind, before you are a diagnosis or a career or a story, you are energy and you are the breath of life.
Every atom in your body is mostly empty space vibrating at a frequency.
The field surrounding and interpenetrating your physical body is as real and measurable as your heartbeat.
It communicates.
It receives.
Healing happens through it or it does not happen at all.
At the center of it all is the seat of the Soul.
The soul is not hovering somewhere above you waiting to be accessed in meditation.
It is you.
The irreducible, essential you inhabiting this physical vessel for this particular journey.
When it is strong and well-tended, it moves through you as creativity, vitality, and a quality of presence, peace, power, and plain just being the real you.
When it is depleted or unacknowledged, the body follows. The mind follows. The life follows.
The soul is always there waiting to transmit its guidance, but only if we will tune in.
Bob Marley understood this. He came from profound poverty, faced violence and political persecution, was shot before one of the most important concerts of his life and walked onto that stage anyway.
He had no conventional protection.
What he had was soul.
So rooted, so fully expressed in every note he sang, that it became a frequency millions of people could tune into across language, across culture, across generations.
His music did not just entertain. It transmitted something. You felt it in your body before you understood it in your mind.
That is soul power in its most fully expressed form. And every single one of us carries that same capacity.
We may have lots of jesters and distractions in these critical times, but that is why you must tune into the frequency of your sovereign soul expression.
As our world becomes more synthetic and ai driven, you stand at the precipice of a choice: which will you choose?
The soul-nourishing path or a life of drained energy, the hero’s journey unfulfilled?
The Hero’s Journey Requires Spiritual Resilience
The hero’s journey does not promise an easy path. It promises a meaningful one.
It says you will face the descent. You will encounter what seeks to diminish you.
You will lose things. You will be brought to your knees.
And then it says: you are not meant to stay there.
What determines whether a person moves through the hard things and comes out the other side, not unscathed, but unbroken, is the strength of the soul.
The degree to which they are rooted in something that cannot be taken no matter what is lost on the outside.
I have watched someone with extraordinary gifts and a powerful message be worn down by forces that were relentless and largely invisible, until the light went out.
The Crushed Angel
You have not danced so badly, my dear,
trying to hold hands with the Beautiful One.
You have waltzed with great style, my sweet, crushed angel,
to have ever neared God's Heart at all.
Our Partner is notoriously difficult to follow,
and even His best musicians are not always easy to hear.
So what if the music has stopped for a while.
So what if the price of admission to the Divine is out of reach tonight.
So what, my dear, if you do not have the ante to gamble for Real Love.
The mind and body are famous for holding the heart ransom,
but Hafiz knows the Beloved's eternal habits.
Have patience, for He will not be able to resist
your longing for long.
You have not danced so badly, my dear,
trying to kiss the Beautiful One.
You have actually waltzed with tremendous style,
O my sweet, Oh my sweet, crushed angel.
Hafiz, rendered by Daniel Ladinsky
What Weakens the Field
From the day we are born it almost seems as though most of us have our Soul Consciousness wiped so that we do not remember the power of who we really are.
You might think of it like a game so that you don’t get too disgruntled about it.
The coat of our awareness starts unraveling from day one due to all the things that come with this modern world and the unseen influences.Â
However, the soul light is still extremely powerful at this time.
Just look at a baby, and you can feel how close the baby is to the divine.
This feeling is incredible, and we can all feel it.
Some of us have awakenings throughout our lives and guardians who can be extremely powerful.
I myself have a lion being as a guardian that has been with me since Day 1.
A 7th-dimensional lion being that is highly protective and has helped me through difficult times.
This world brings with it many things that begin to unravel our glowing coat of awareness.
The energetic field around you is not invincible.
It can be worn down. When it is weak, things move in that do not carry your highest interest.
Some of it is emotional. Heavy feelings with nowhere to go.
Grief that has not been witnessed.
Anger that has never been expressed.
Shame carried in silence for years.
These create interference in the field as surely as anything physical.
Then there are the frequencies from modern-day living, such as Electromagnetic radiation from devices, routers, and dirty electricity, which interact with the biofield in ways most of us never think about.
Neurotoxins, heavy metals, chronic low-grade infections, and unresolved dental interference fields all disrupt the energetic architecture that organizes and animates the physical body.
And then there is something subtler still.
There are forces, inorganic, invisible, operating below ordinary awareness, that feed on human luminosity.
Every wisdom tradition in human history has named them in its own language.
The predator in Castaneda’s teachings.
The entities that shamanic traditions have cleared for millennia.
The environments and people that leave you feeling inexplicably empty afterward.
Carlos Castaneda’s teacher don Juan described the glow coat of awareness that surrounds the human body from birth.
Intact in children. Luminous, full, alive.
And then slowly, through the programming of this world, through shame and fear and the relentless message that you are too much or not enough, it begins to unravel.
My favorite teaching which I share often is this:
Discipline Makes the Glowing Coat of Awareness Unpalatable to the Predator. Carlos Castaneda
When your field is weak, when there are rips and tears from heavy feelings or accumulated pressure, these forces find their way in more easily.
The person dims. Slowly, without necessarily naming what is happening, the light goes quieter.
This is why building spiritual resilience is an active, daily, disciplined practice. Not a passive hope.
The Five Forgivenesses
One
Forgive God, that he separated you from himself and created you as a creature. Relax and enjoy and be in the highest spirits. Thank God and forgive him. Your soul is a part of the Divine.
Two
Forgive your destiny. You did not write it, you earned it. You cannot do anything about it, you can simply reach it or not.
Three
Forgive the environments which are always challenging and the cause and effect which are happening. It is not the life that matters but the courage you bring to it.
Four
Forgive your capacity, your ability, your duality. Keep forgiving. The Divine will come through.
Five
Forgive yourself that you have to go through it.
Yogi Bhajan
What Soul Power Actually Feels Like
Before I tell you more, I want you to feel what I am talking about.
The video below is not a performance.
It is a transmission.
When you watch this woman sing, you are not just hearing music.
You are encountering a human being operating from a fully inhabited soul. Present. Open.
Channeling something through her voice that is larger than the song itself.
Watch it. Notice what happens in your body.
Where do you feel it?
That involuntary recognition, that yes, that, that is your soul recognizing its own frequency in another person.
That is what we are protecting. That is what we are building.
This video takes place in Appalachia, and Ginger is like the Soul of Appalachia to me.
Practices That Ignite Spiritual Resilience
Soul power is not something you either have or do not. It is something you tend. Like a fire.
Soul Power requires tuning into something greater than what we see in this physical reality.
It is that mystical energy that most people crave, wondering if there is something more to this life.
Indeed, there is, and the access point is in the vulnerable and sincere places of the consciousness.
Tended daily, it becomes something nothing can extinguish.
What’s more, the access to seeing beyond this reality expands as you forgive, surrender, and move through life with self-mastery.
The realms of possibility are endless.
Music as Direct Soul Access
Playing guitar, learning harmonica, dancing, and singing are ways I tend to the soul.
Creating music is the fastest portal I know to the part of me that is uncontaminated by the noise of the world.
And much of the time, it is mantra music I play, which is very powerful programming that is the opposite of most of the unworthiness marketing we hear on TV and in the media today.
When I pick up the guitar, something shifts in my nervous system within seconds.
The analytical mind quiets. The field softens.
The soul comes forward, and presence is in the field.
And quite honestly I feel like when we are not creating art, music, creating the things that are aligned with our purpose instead we create problems and drama.
Whatever your instrument is, literal or metaphorical, use it. Sing in the car.
In the shower. In the kitchen.
Let your voice move through you without judgment.
The voice is the most immediate instrument of soul expression the human body has.
Not only does the soul get nourished here, but our mind and brain become strengthened by playing an instrument.
The vocal cords are extremely important to keep strong and healthy. It is like we were given these abilities, so we’d better use them or they cease to function properly.
Dancing for Spiritual Joy
Dr. Gabriel Cousens, one of my teachers and one of the most profound integrative medicine minds of our time, began every talk, every meditation, every spiritual fasting retreat the same way.
Before a single word of teaching was spoken, before any meditation was guided, everyone in the room danced together to a song.
It sounds simple. It is not small.
Dancing for spiritual joy, not performance, not exercise, just uninhibited movement to music, enlivens you on so many levels simultaneously that nothing else quite replicates it.
It drops you out of your head and into your body in seconds.
It opens the chest.
Activates the breath.
Moves stagnant energy through the field.
And most importantly it invokes joy.
Genuine, embodied, unconditional joy.
Even in a heavy world.
Especially in a heavy world.
If you do nothing else from this article, find a song that moves you and dance to it alone in your kitchen this morning.
That is spiritual resilience in its most accessible and ancient form.Â
The Ambrosial Hours
Some of my most cherished hours are the ambrosial hours.
That liminal state, as the world is still, and the sun is gathering itself to rise.
The air is crisp and mystical.Â
The nervous system is still soft from sleep.
The analytical mind has not yet engaged.
This is truly the best time for meditation to cultivate more soul consciousness.
Whatever you are reaching toward in those hours can be reached more easily than at any other time.
Mystics across every tradition have always known this. Kundalini yogis. Sufi poets. Christian contemplatives. Buddhist monastics.
The hours before dawn carry a particular frequency in which the soul speaks most clearly, and the cosmos feels closest.Â
From my own experience, this is when I get the downloads, and most recently had what appeared to be Archangel Michael hovering over me just before waking.
The angel was towering, dressed in a long white robe-like garment, back-dropped against an exceptional royal blue.
The angelic frequency and sound were otherworldly.Â
Just confirmation of the most powerful time of day for the Soul, the ambrosial hours.
Gathering soul wisdom daily will start to rebuild your glowing coat of awareness to carry you through this world as a sovereign soul.
Time in Nature as Field Restoration
The Earth has its own coherent electromagnetic field.
When you put your bare feet on the ground, your body’s electrical system entrains to it.
This is measurable.
Time in nature is a biological necessity for field restoration, particularly in a world of wifi, dirty electricity, and relentless electromagnetic radiation.
But beyond the science, nature does something for me that no protocol can replicate.
My favorite thing about nature is its simplicity and beauty, and how it engages all the senses, even my sixth sense.
To smell a wild rose on a crisp spring day, to hear the river gushing past, to feel the sun, and see my friend, the Great Blue Heron, perched on a rock with one foot in this realm and the other hovering as a symbol of his heavenly connection.
It is magical indeed.
The Times We Are In Require This
We are in an era of accelerating artificiality.
AI generating content at industrial scale.
Synthetic foods.
Synthetic frequencies.
Synthetic relationships mediated through screens.
The relentless optimization of human attention for the benefit of systems that do not have human flourishing as their primary interest.
In this environment, the soul is under a kind of pressure that has no historical precedent.
Not because the forces working against human luminosity are new.
They are ancient.
But the scale, sophistication, and speed of that pressure is unlike anything previous generations faced.
To stay soulful in these times is a radical act.
To choose Real food over synthetic nutrition.
Real human presence over digital simulation.
Real silence over perpetual stimulation.Â
These are not small choices.
They are acts of resistance and reclamation.
Building your glow coat of awareness, making yourself unpalatable to what would consume your luminosity, choosing the practices and people and environments that ignite your soul rather than deplete it, this is the essential work of being human right now.
Spiritual resilience is not a concept for another time or another kind of person.
It is for this moment.
It is for you.
An Invitiation
I invite you to recognize who you really are.
A Soul in a body that gets to experience this life in all its facets.
How will you choose to live? And where will you choose to live from?
For most of us it is a practice that we build and build.
Some days it is easier than others.
It is what drives me to continue.
And it is one of the most fulfilling feelings to nourish the soul.
In part 2, I hope to discuss the topic of the sovereign soul overcoming a synthetic world, but from the aspect of our biology and the current attack we face.
Until then, stay present at your best and recognize who you really are.
