A simple warm water enema is a great home remedy for constipation.Â
You can typically find an enema bag at any local drug store like Rite Aid.
Be sure to use warm distilled water for the enema. Avoid tap water that can have chemicals and toxins in it.Â
Once you hold lube the tip of the enema bag insert the tip into your rectum and gently let the water flow in.Â
Typically 1-2 quarts of water is used. You can roll from side to side and gently massage the stomach.
This will help move waste from the colon.

Something that can greatly solve uti’s are probiotics. Probiotics will help modify the terrain.Â

Home Remedies for Sinus Infection
One of my favorite home remedies for sinus infection issues is a Netti Pot.
A netti pot is a simple tool that you fill with warm distilled water and a pinch of sea salt.
This solution is inserted into one nostril and it pours out the other nostril.
Repeat on the other side.
It is very helpful in cleaning out the nasal passage ways and alleviating sinus congestion.
A warm compress over your sinuses and fore head for 20 minutes can really help your sinus passage ways.
I also like to do a steam inhalation of sage to clear the pathways of the sinus cavity and lungs.
Inhaling the vapor of sage essential oil can help clear nasal congestion. Add a few drops of sage essential oil to a bowl of hot water, place your head over it, and cover yourself with a towel to trap the steam.
Spicy foods and hot peppers if you can handle them are very potent at clearing out your sinuses for a simple home remedy.
Add spicy peppers to your foods.
That brings me to ginger. Ginger root has anti-inflammatory properties that can help relieve sinus congestion. You can make ginger tea or chew on a small piece of fresh ginger.
Remember to sleep with your head a bit elevated for drainage and even have a diffuser going in your room with sage or eucalyptus to have a peaceful nights rest.
Home Remedy for ToothAche
Coconut oil pulling is my favorite home remedy for a toothache.Â
Take up to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and add a drop or two of clove essential oil and cinnamon essential oil.Â
Swish with this for up to 20 minutes. Spit it out in the trash so you don’t ruin your drains.
You can also create a small compress on the area with a few drops of clove oil on the cotton pad or ball.
Let it sit for 30 minutes.
Swish your mouth regularly with sea salt water to keep bacteria from invading the mouth.
Stay away from sweet and processed foods.
Consider a good vitamin d and k2 supplement that will help heal the bones and any cavitations.Â
You can also open up a probiotic capsule into the mouth with a small amount of coconut oil and swish for 10 minutes to help the good bacteria settle in.
You may find my Hygiene Handbook a useful tool in your home remedy tool kit. There is a whole section on oral care.
Remember to floss and use salt water rinses often to keep bacteria at bay.

Mix a tsp of wild honey into an herbal hot tea at night to help lessen a cough.
Ginger tea is a great option as a base for your tea as it has both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.Â
This can help calm down the bronchial tubes.
Ginger is so important to have on hand in your home for so many health ailments.
Steam inhalation can help soothe the bronchial tubes as well.Â
You can add a drop or two of an anti bacterial essential oil like sage and use a towel to trap the vapors.
If you have access to a steam sauna this could help too.
Try also a simple salt solution for cough home remedy. Gargle with the salt solution.
A warm compress over the lungs and making a healing salve of camphorous and hyssop can help break up congestion and soothe the lungs.
You can get a camphorous essential oil on Amazon here.
Hyssop is another key congestant relief essential oil to have on hand.
Mix those with coconut oil or jojoba oil and apply to the chest to help alleviate coughing. It really soothes the lungs and bronchial tubes.
One of my favorite home remedies to squash a cough is wild oregano oil.
A must have in any natural medicine cabinet!
Tricks to Lower Blood Pressure Instantly | Home Remedies
One of the tricks to lower blood pressure instantly at home is to do deep breathing techniques.
Start to slow your breath.
Try the 4-7-8 technique, where you inhale for a count of four, hold for seven, and exhale for eight.
Repeat this to start to lower your blood pressure.
You may also consider doing a guided meditation to relax your nerves and calm yourself down naturally.
If you are dehydrated simply drinking pure water can help lower your blood pressure quickly.
Potassium rich foods like sweet potatoes, spinach and bananas can help balance sodium levels thereby lowering your blood pressure.
Beet Root Juice Powder can be a really key addition to your natural remedies medicine cabinet for lowering blood pressure quickly.
Beetroot is abundant in dietary nitrates, which are changed over into nitric oxide (NO) in the body.
Nitric oxide is a particle that assumes a vital part in enlarging veins (vasodilation).
At the point when veins expand, they unwind and extend, which prompts a reduction in pulse.
Another natural remedy or trick to lower blood pressure is hibiscus. I love cold hibiscus tea and personally but this one on Amazon.
Some studies suggest that hibiscus tea can help lower blood pressure due to its natural diuretic and blood vessel-relaxing properties.
Steep hibiscus tea well so it is nice and dark.
I enjoy a cup before bed almost every night.
Home Remedies For Kidney Stones
My top home remedies for kidney stones are Apple Cider Vinegar and staying hydrated.
Apple cider vinegar helps to dissolve and break up stones.Â
It is amazing how fast apple cider vinegar can work to alleviate pain as it goes to work to dissolve the stones.
Sip a few tablespoons in a large glass of water through out the day.
And as I said be sure you are staying well hydrated so stones do not form.
Also consider Chanca Piedra which literally means stone breaker.Â
You can find chanca piedra tea and tinctures. This is another wonderful home remedy for your medicine cabinet.
You want to keep your diet as healthy as possible so stones do not continue to form.
Be sure to utilize lemon juice in your meals or even in your water.Â
Lemon will help dissolve and break up stones.
You can also use castor oil packs over the kidneys to help get rid of stones.Â
I also would consider doing a kidney cleanse so you can flush stones and do a maintenance cleanse routine on your entire urinary tract.

I just discovered your blog. Thanks.
I was wondering what is coconut oil pulling?
Hi Lisa, Coconut oil pulling is ancient technique for detoxifying the body. You place 1 or 2 tbs of the organic raw coconut oil in your mouth (sesame is also used sometimes) and swish in your mouth for about 10 minutes. Spit this out into a trash so you don’t clog your drains and you have just performed your first oil pulling session! Read more about it online. Much LOVE and thanks for stopping by the Sacred Backyard. xxx
