Notes

This DIY remineralizing toothpaste recipe is a great way to improve your oral health and avoid the harmful chemicals found in commercial toothpaste.
The ingredients in this recipe, such as calcium carbonate, baking soda, coconut oil, propolis and essential oils, have all been shown to have beneficial effects on oral health.
Calcium carbonate is the main mineral in tooth enamel, and it helps to strengthen teeth and prevent cavities.
Baking soda is a mild abrasive that can help to remove plaque and surface stains from teeth. Coconut oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and it can help to reduce plaque and gingivitis.
Essential oils and boosters like propolis, such as myrrh and clove oil, also have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and they can help to improve gum health and reduce the risk of cavities.
Propolis helps to cleanse the oral environment and improve your brain health as it wipes out Strep Mutans a key cofactor in aging brain-related diseases.
Strep Mutans is a component in tooth decay and so adding this in is an upgrade to any DIY tooth paste and is rarely talked about or known.
To use this recipe, simply mix all of the ingredients until well combined.
Apply a small amount of the DIY remineralizing toothpaste to your toothbrush and brush your teeth as usual. If you can let it sit longer this will help ensure the minerals can work best. For sensitive areas brush very lightly.
Use an ultrasoft toothbrush.
Rinse your mouth with a saltwater rinse.
This DIY remineralizing toothpaste is a safe and effective way to improve your oral health and avoid the harmful chemicals found in commercial toothpaste.
It is also a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.
