Hi ya’ll, it’s friday night and it’s been raining all day. I actually am enjoying it. I cleaned the place up, scrubbed the floors and cleaned out the bathroom cabinets of anything that hasn’t been used in a while. I took my boars bristle brush and cleaned it really well…then dried it on the heater. Scrubbing the bathtub I could feel the insides of my body get a cleaning and a scrubbing. It’s all connected.
So back to the pizza. First of all I made the crust ahead of time. Here is the recipe for the raw crust:
2 cups of coconut meat
1/4-1/2 spring water and a touch of stevia to sweeten. I prefer to not use the coconut water..just my preference..most thai coconuts are super sweet, not like the wild ones or the young one’s i used to climb up trees for in Hawaii.
3 Tbs. of Premier Research Labs Nutritional Flakes ( i don’t mess with other brands, I get the best here or don’t use them at all)
1/4 cup chia seeds ground
3/4 cup grated onion
Blend these ingredients well into the vitamix. Dehydrate for 3 hours and then flip over and dehydrate over night or until desired consistency.
(This portion of the recipe was from Markus Rothkranz and Cara Brotman’s book..I appreciate them!).
Next make the tomato sauce.. either by biopure Organic tomato paste or make your own raw sauce
6 sundried tomatoes soaked in water until nice and soft
1 sweet organic tomato (if they are not in season I suggest just buying a high end paste other wise it wont have that zip)
a few tbs. of your favorite oil..i like pumpkin seed oil or avocado oil
fresh garlic, basil and salt to taste
Optional: Premier Research Labs Tomato Concentrate (2 tbs)…adds nutrients and texture
Dandelion Greens (the star of the pizza! and the image up top)
Premier Pink Salt
lots of Garlic
Raw Goat Cheese (optional)
Dehydrate garlic and coconut oil and/or ghee with the salt for a few hours until it breaks down and is tender.
Pour the garlic and oils into a food processor and add in lots minced dandelion greens and sea salt.
Puree this mixture.
Top the pizza with the sauce, grated goat cheese and the Dandelion Puree
Put back in the dehydrator to a high setting for 1 hour or so and there you have it!
