How To Overcome Adrenal Fatigue

Overcoming Adrenal Fatigue is a key piece to an overall healthy mind, body and spirit. I have put together some key pieces to the Adrenal puzzle below, I invite you to have a look!


First we want to realize where our adrenals are, they sit on top of the kidneys and are relatively small in size. images

First things first, Sleep! Get to bed before 10pm. The hormones are doing there thing around 10-2pm to reset you and leave you feeling well rested tomorrow, so give your body time to do this.  Even resting in bed is better than being out and about at this time. Getting 5 hours of non stop sleep is a must for our Adrenal glands to function at there best.

Going to bed on an empty stomach really gives the body the opportunity to do what it requires; rebuild, restore and rejuvenate your cells. Otherwise its stuck with the huge task of digesting food.

Over eating is a huge reason for feeling sluggish in the morning. The best time to eat your high protein meal is mid day. At this time your stomach acid is at its’ peak. Just this step alone is a game changer. Keep your dinner meal plant based and on the lighter side. Perhaps enjoy a raw blended soup or salad with cultured veggies, heirloom purple potato or yams.

Next, drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water per day. Start the morning with a 32 ounce glass of water.

These are all key players. Amino Acids and Iron are crucial and if you are vegetarian or vegan make sure to have your levels checked to create the best quality health for your Adrenals.

These pieces of the puzzle should get you going and give you back your morning energy sustaining you through out your day.
